Completion tool R&D Engineer - Staff/Senior

Chengdu, China

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Be responsible for the research and development of downhole completion tools, including but not limited to mechanical design, material selection, drawing release, processing follow-up, testing, etc.;

2. Lead or collaborate in solving problems arising during the production, testing and application of products to ensure product performance and reliability;

3. Collect information on new products, new technologies, new materials and new processes related to completion tools.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical and electrical engineering, electrical engineering, automation or other related majors; with 8 years or more of R&D experience in downhole completion tools; experience in R&D of downhole packers and bridge plug tools is preferred;

2. Skilled in using 3D design software, and having the ability in downhole tool design or R&D management;

3. Possessing strong ability to analyze and solve problems, a sense of innovation and a result-oriented awareness;

4. Experience in working for international service companies or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) for overseas brands is preferred.
