Solution Engineer - Digitalization & Intelligence

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Customer Engagement & Requirement Guidance: Lead or independently conduct customer technical discussions, identify real customer needs through questioning, analysis, and solution guidance, and help customers build understanding and recognition of the company’s product capabilities and solution approaches;

2.Opportunity Analysis & Solution Conversion: Conduct requirement analysis, business scenario mapping, solution design, and value communication for key opportunities, drive requirement pre-screening, POC validation, and handover review, and promote conversion from business opportunities to projects;

3.Product Capability Matching & Value Presentation: Develop a strong understanding of the company’s existing products and technical capabilities, combine and adapt them to customer scenarios, clearly communicate value, and appropriately manage solution boundaries to avoid excessive customization;

4.Requirement Validation & Rapid Prototyping: Use AI tools and Vibe Coding to develop prototypes, demos, or lightweight POCs based on presales and solution validation needs, improving the efficiency of requirement confirmation, solution validation, and customer communication;

5.Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Advancement: Coordinate with product, R&D, commercial, and delivery teams to resolve key issues during opportunity and project development, and drive achievement of critical milestones for key customers and projects;

6.Methodology & Asset Development: Capture and document typical business scenarios, customer issues, solutions, project cases, and presales methodologies to support team reuse, solution optimization, and product iteration.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines are preferred.

2.Industry & Work Experience:

2.1 Experience in oil and gas, industrial software, enterprise digitalization, or related industries is preferred;

2.2 Experience in presales, solution consulting, product, technical consulting, digital projects, or related roles is preferred;

2.3 Experience in requirement discussions, solution presentations, and project advancement with large enterprises, state-owned enterprises, or other complex organizations is preferred.

3.Professional Skills:

3.1 Strong requirement analysis, solution development, and opportunity assessment capabilities, with the ability to identify core customer issues, business value, and project conditions and translate them into clear solution approaches;

3.2 Strong product and technical understanding, with the ability to align customer needs with the company’s existing products and technical capabilities, communicate value, and assess solution boundaries;

3.3 Proficiency in AI tools and basic Vibe Coding capabilities, with the ability to use prototypes, demos, or lightweight POCs for requirement validation and solution presentation.

4.General Skills: Strong logical thinking, structured communication, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities, with the ability to effectively drive solutions and projects forward.

5.Core Competencies: Strong learning agility, customer orientation, results orientation, and sense of responsibility, with the ability to quickly understand industry scenarios and new technologies and translate them into problem-solving and business outcomes.
