November 29th, 2017; Vertechs was visited by the newly appointed Italian Consul General, Mr. Filippo Nicosia. The Vertechs company profile, technology and achievements were reviewed with an eye toward Mr. Nicosia making a recommendation on behalf of Vertechs to the Italian E&P giant ENI. The objective will be to start a dialogue for commercial engagement in the near future.
Mr. Nicosia’s previous tenure (4 years) in Beijing as a diplomat for commercial activity makes him a key contact for Sichuan businesses. During his recent visit to Chengdu this commitment was made clearly.
“The Italian government attaches great importance to southwest China and Italian President Mr. Sergio Mattarella's recent visit to the region is a case in point," said Mr. Filippo Nicosia.
