IPTC 2025 | Optimizing Unconventional Wells with Vertechs Dissolvable Frac Plug and BIP Design

Vertechs Group had the privilege of presenting at the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) 2025 on February 18th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During the event, Vertechs Field Service Engineer shared valuable insights on dissolvable frac plug with BIP design for hydraulic proppant fracturing in unconventional wells.

Optimizing efficiency in unconventional reservoirs, particularly in Saudi Arabia, remains a major challenge as horizontal wells are drilled to greater depths. The dissolvable frac plug with BIP design helps address this by eliminating milling, reducing costs and carbon emissions for more efficient operations.

As shale gas and oil development advances, we will continuously enhance plug design and performance to deliver the most effective solutions, and look forward to more collaboration opportunities with you!
